Resilience In Business Amidst COVID-19 Challenges

Background

Africa Kingdom Business Forum (AKBF) was formed to provide an interactive, networking and training forum for Kingdom-minded Christian business persons in Uganda and beyond in line with the continental vision of Intercessors for Africa (IFA), of developing Kingdom resource people to transform the continent. This requires raising prudent stewards of resources who will make the same resources available for God’s purposes.

Covid-19 and its impact on Businesses

The pandemic has had a major impact on businesses across many sectors, with many facing reduced revenues, job cuts and furloughing resulting from the lockdown measures that were introduced by Governments worldwide to curb the spread of the pandemic. This has placed a challenge on businesses to seek to repurpose their ways of operation and seek new opportunities to supplement their existing businesses or even venture into new businesses. It is not business as usual as sustainability has becomes a key area of discussion.

For us to plug into this new phenomenal change, we need to create a conducive environment for our garden of thoughts where we collect ideas which we cultivate, tend and fertilize and in time become actual businesses. The Holy Spirit will bring to light new ideas which will form a basis of business thoughts for future actions. The global world today, is on our laptops and smart phone devices through which we can provide innovations the world is seeking for.

Therefore, AKBF is taking the lead on this forum to strengthen our financial well-being.
